Verification through Senior Vet Discounts does not override any identification or enrollment requirements imposed by a merchant.
Verified Does Not Mean Guaranteed
A verified Veteran may still be ineligible for a particular merchant's program because eligibility rules differ among businesses.
Always review the merchant's current requirements.
"Show" Feature
The planned app may include screens that users can display to help communicate Veteran or Senior status.
These screens are informational and are not official government or military identification.
They do not require a merchant to provide a discount and do not replace whatever proof the merchant requires.
Community Reports
Senior Vet Discounts may allow users to submit reports concerning their experiences with discounts.
Reports may include:
- A discount was received
- No discount was available
- A policy was different from expected
- A discount percentage
- A ZIP code or general location
- An optional savings amount
Users submitting reports agree that the information is based on their genuine experience to the best of their knowledge.
Honest Reporting Required

Reports should describe actual experiences or information the user reasonably believes to be accurate.

Local Business Search
The app may use third-party services to identify nearby businesses based on a ZIP code or other permitted location information.
A business appearing in search results does not mean that Senior Vet Discounts has confirmed that it offers a discount.

Senior Vet Discounts then answers:
"Do we have discount information about this business?"
Third-Party Services
